Partners in marriage and business, Joey and Reece (that's us!) decided that four children wasn't quite enough chaos for us so combined our love of dogs and passion for running business' beginning the venture into our dog services
Our vision
We thought up our business during the 2020 pandemic. We, the same as so many others around the world, sat in stillness giving us the time to really think about what we want to do and the lifestyle that we want for ourselves. Our passion for dogs along with the rise in puppy farming, especially during that year, gave us the realisation that we can make a difference. So we threw ourselves into the research, planning and preparing to set up a breeding programme dedicated to providing the best care for our dogs. We wanted to contribute towards the breeding of healthy, unrelated dogs before reaching the point where we could put our practice into reality. Specialising in working dog breeds is something important to us and we have different strategies in place to produce puppies with the potential to be the best companion, service and therapy dogs.
We have expanded our programme to offer further services for dogs and puppies such as grooming services, microchipping, pregnancy scanning & progesterone testing.
We cannot wait to grow our business even further in the future.

Pick up Service:
We offer a unique pick up and drop off service, not just for your dog grooming appointments.
Are you a breeder yourself and in need of progesterone testing? We offer a pick up service for this as well as bringing your brand new puppy to you should you purchase one from us.

Pregnancy and Whelping:
The care we provide for our dams, specifically during pregnancy, whelping and nursing is held to an extremely high standard. This constitutes of progesterone testing, natural studding, supplements, temperature checking, specialist diets, daily health, groom and mastitis checks, exercise regimes, dam led weaning & the proven safest and substantial amount of time between litters.
Curriculum:
Our dogs are held to a high standard of training with a positive reinforcement method. They are crate, on and off lead, house, noise and animal trained.
Our puppies receive different levels of curriculum from birth until they leave us for their forever homes which are inclusive of: Noise therapy, play, texture exposure, socialisation, name training, and the beginning of toilet and redirection of biting training.

Photography studio:
We offer a unique opportunity to purchase a professionally captured and framed photo of your doggy that can be taken at the end of their groom with us at Golden paws.
We also offer a photoshoot session in which you will be sent your photos digitally, this allows us to create themes like birthdays, Christmas, or anything that you can come up with! We will try our hardest to accommodate your needs.

ENS & ESI:
​Early neurological stimulation exercises (ENS) & Early scent introduction (ESI) start during the first week after birth. It has been proven to improve their stress responses later in life, improve cardio vascular performance (heart rate) and give them a greater resistance to disease. It is also used to promote the future performance of working dogs.
